Since it’s the time for me to drop weight and tone up, I like to incorporate HIIT cardio in my regimen twice a week and do steady state the other days. Some people like it and others don’t. As you can see in the video, it’s not easy per my facial expressions 😅 I found out that it works very well with my body. There are different ways to do HIIT. For example when I’m on the track I like to sprint for 60 seconds and walk for 120 seconds to get my heart rate back down. Before doing that I stretch properly and warm up with a light jog

On the stepper I do either 12 or 15 for 3 mins and then level 3 or 4 for 2 mins. It varies on the intensity of my prior weight training session

Another benefit of HIIT is the after burn effect known as EPOC (excess-post exercise oxygen consumption). You increase your metabolism and burn more calories for up to 24 hours after interval training, whereas going for a jog burns almost NO calories after

If you’ve been following me for a while now you’ll notice I emphasize a lot on shifting your #Paradigm before doing anything in life. Your mental health needs to be strong before you can attack any tasks you face. As I said before, my life has totally changed since my transformation. It was not an easy process yet very rewarding 

.

We all have excuses. It’s called being a #HumanBeing but it takes #Champions to sit down and shift their paradigm any time they face a challenge. Besides having #abs or looking good for the #beach find a different motivation that will shift your mindset. Mine was my son and the aspiration to inspire people by being #Selfless.
